Have you tried on the D-Blue in person? How big is your wrist? Don't be one of those "big watch" guys unless you honestly have the wrist/arm for it-- they will suffer the same fate as MC Hammer "genie pants" from the early 90s.

I would flip. I prefer the DSSD.

Tough choice. If there are any regrets, I think you can always get the hulk back down the road as others mentioned.

I love both the Dblue and the LV, I would try and figure out a way of having both.

Another one here who has and loves both the LVc and D-Blue. I would try to find a way to keep both however, if that's not going to work for you then scratch the itch and go D-Blue. If it doesn't work out, the D-Blue is an easy flip and you can buy another LVc. However, no way would I flip for the standard Deepsea because if that doesn't work for you, it won't be as easy to flip and you might lose a few bucks.

Good luck

I think it's a much of muchness. Comes down to personal taste and how tired of the green you are. Can't really help much beyond that. They're both SS Rolex and more or less fit the same function.

Make the flip. The D Blue is a marvel and worth a shot. I have equal love for the LVC too though. It would be easy to reverse your decision if you have regrets.

Both are great watches and if the deal is fair if it does not work trade back.

I have a bit issue with Deepsea Blue. The bracelet is not thick enough to match that massive case. from the side, it looks a bit odd. Why do they do that?

OP shows the DSSD on my wrist. I tend to end up in an AD trying on that watch at least once or twice a year. Never tried on the d-blue but for fitment purposes the black dial does just fine.

I would say my wrist is a bit on the smaller side especially for a watch so tall, but the proportions of the watch are far from perfect IMO but make for a really interesting look. So really what I'm saying is that unless your wrist is so small the case lugs hang past the top of your wrist it's ok that the look is made to be oversized.

Genie pants were a little more oversized by design the this watch though for sure ;)

Flip... IMO the D-Blue is amazing, plus it is much tougher to come by then the LV.

This makes lots of sense given your situation. Btw from looking at your pictures I'd say the AP fits your personal style the best. I like AP a lot but that particular dial is not one I'd choose for myself but it looks great on you. I'll be skewered for saying so but I don't think that either the LV-C nor DSSD-blue add much for you to the other two. I'd consider just selling the LV-C. My vote was to trade LV-C for deep blue.

DSSD looks better than HULK in those wrist pictures, but I would stick with HULK.

It's an easy decision cause:
1. My wrist is not large enough to sport the deep sea.
2. Just love the size of the LV and how it looks just perfect.

Easy decision for me. I did try on the dssd back then and although the dial is special it didn't sing to me. Image1465604640.808370.jpg

2 totally different watches.

The hulk and the DSSD Blue both turn heads but I don't like the height of the hulk so I would never own it.

To be honest I really only like the diameter and height of the DSSD, I don't like how small other Rolex's are...IMO

Hulk is an awesome watch but the D-Blue is extraordinary. I think it's the most interesting watch Rolex has ever made for a multitude of reasons. Keep both if you can swing it, if not D-Blue is worth parting with the Hulk for IMO.

Sell the ap, which is a bit of a snoozer compared to the hulk.

My vote goes to keeping the hulk, it's such an amazing piece and I agree, from what I've read of your previous threads too, I know you know you love it. I could never part with my hulk. I also have other watches in my collection and sometimes don't wear the hulk for a while but still wouldn't even think to let it go. That is a very special watch.

The AP is gorgeous, and I plan to add one too, and as is always the case when you get a new watch it will always see more wrist time since its new and you've wanted something fresh....we have problems lol.

But anyway, you only know what is best deep down. Personally I don't even like the D-Blue so for me it's an easy choice.

I'm sticking to my guns and saying give the D Blue a shot.
Makes me think of what "Queuecumber" once told me - "There is nothing more iconic than a Rolex Submariner. The D-Blue is the coolest Submariner ever made at this point in time...".

Well, Hulk is special and D-Blue is too bulky and heavy. Easy choice for me.
