GMT Bezel on an old Explorer II

You could always get a second Exp bezel and have it DLC'd for a few hundred bucks. That would give some cool options.

This particular 'mod' (black GMT bezel) looks especially good with a white dial.
It offers a nice contrasting appearance.

*wondering* Now what would work with a black dialed Explorer II? Would the same modification look too monochromatic?

I would definitely consider this if it were a new model.

Any updates to this OP? I'm in the market for a polar explorer and wondering what options I'd have for changeups if any.
