We can't compete with the high temps in the Phoenix area (a contest, by the way, we're always happy to lose) but it's gonna be warm here in Tucson this week.
Even starting my bike rides at 4:00 am, I'll still be losing water a lot faster than I'd like.

Guess it's time to move up North for you . . .

Finally it's 3 or 4 months hot out here

But heaving winters at 80 to 90 degrees - I love it !

I had enough bad weather in the last 40+ years

So now it's Sunny time 😉

I came up with a resolution that keeps my whole place a bit cooler, especially at night. The pic below is the access to my attic. I replaced the "door" (basically a plank of wood) with a screen. Then I put in a high-end attic fan which vents to the outside, and wired it a regular switch in my bedroom. I leave a window open, and at night, the fan sucks the hot air out, and the cool(er) air in to my whole condo. It works great, doesn't use as much energy as AC, and let's me sleep like a baby

Highly recommend this for anyone that can do this, it really works!
Paul, we had a whole house fan in our house as a kid. Works like a champ!

Growing up in South Louisiana we would use 'florida water' to cool down during baseball/football/soccer practice. It was very refreshing and worked well.
I never knew the exact ratio my dad would use, but it is essentially Florida water cologne mixed with ice and water in an igloo cooler. Dip that rag in there and put on your face and wowzer its cold!!

It's supposed to be pretty mild here in Albuquerque.

This is how South Florida seems to be. The humidity here is absolutely oppressive. Its terrible. You sweat just walking to your car from the front door.

94 degrees and 92 percent humidity here in New Orleans area at 5:30 pm

Our Arizona friends will most likely win this thread, but where are you and what are your high temps?
Pretty bad over here in Covington as well LOL.

I don't care how long you've lived in the desert, this is ridiculous. The lowest daytime temp I've seen forecast in the next 9 days is 111.

I feel your pain. That's a typical summer here, except the ocean is a mile away, it's humid, and we get a lot of blowing dust. It sucks when the temperature is 112 but feels like 125

According to my truck, it was 122 on my way home from work today. I didn't take a pic because I'm trying to forget. ;)

Dag Bas,

Ik liever een paar dagen 'warm' en geen regen

Genoeg slecht weer gehad in België voor een gans leven !

In de winter is het hier 18 tot 25 graden

Voormiddag skieen en namiddag in de pool !

Perfect gewoon 👍
