The R,

It looks like J under certain lighting so in way you get the best of both worlds.

Good luck!

Thank you all for your comments.
It seems to we have reached a consensus that the pink one should be picked up.
:)

There is only one issue in my mind: I never see both of them before I decide to purchase the one. Some people think to its pink gold alloy is too warm and soulless. They would prefer enjoying Lange's pink hue to getting a 5146R. Is it really true? What is your "real world" experiences?

On the other hand, 5146R is roughly $2000 expensive than the yellow. It could be caused by demand. I am seeing many 5146Js and 5146Gs on Chrono24, or in the ADs. Is 5146R the most wanted one? Might it be a little bit more precious after the production ends within the next years?

I stand corrected but if I remember correctly the MESO of the Y and R are the same. The G is a lot more!

I think Patek produces less R version overall (at least that is what i heard from Patek Salon in Tiffany as well as from a grey seller). It could be marketing however or just more popular hence the price difference.

I was corrected. The R & G are same price and Y is cheaper.

Yup, I believe that is true for most PP models.

5146 R is better than the J version. I think I need to learn how to take photographs.

Thank you everyone.
Now the decision moment is over: 5146R has been ordered. The rose will have met with Aegean blue by November.

I was just going to suggest the same thing. Love the yellow and gray slate dial. Here's mine, in bad pic.

Here's a stock photo that shows the true beauty.

But I guess I am too late.

I was a bit disappointed with the forum members because you could not show me a side-by-side comparison... Thus, I had to buy both of them or try to find someone having the other so that we could compare side-by-side. And we have done:
