Yes, it's very durable. Get the dealer to throw in an extra strap when you buy it.

The lume works pretty well on this watch.

I don't know, I haven't damaged mine.

No, but then again I don't wear it super tight.

Yes, extremely accurate!

Since it's a popular piece with an entry level price point, it holds value fairly well.

Not that I have heard, probably the opposite as the market overall is a bit soft, especially in Asia.

Fantastic watch. Very comfortable and handsome as others have echoed. Be aware, the posts has been fairly positive, which makes senses, since you are sourcing owners.

However, you will certainly run into folks on TRF that consider the 5167 as a lesser watch to the 5711, but only you can decide if that's a significant factor.

I did it. It's stunning. I was very close to letting my head take over the decision, but I'm glad I went with it. Adjusted the strap myself (nerve-wracking!) as I was running out of time at the jeweller and feel I've found a decent fit.

First impressions... is it on my wrist?! It's so light! It catches the light beautifully, lume seems good. It's impossibly thin in comparison to any other auto I've owned as well.

Thanks for all the help with this decision!

Lesser in that it's more under the radar and more practical.

Lume is good on the 5167.

No clue about replacing the bezel but it can be polished by PP.

Not if the strap is cut to the right length for your wrist.

Yes, excellent. Mine runs at +-0.5 sec a day.

Very well.

No idea, I´m only interested in facts.

Don´t think so.

Well, if you insist...
Agreed to all this! Love mine, it grows on you every time you wear it!

To the OP: how did the Aquanaut wear compared to the Nautilus? I'm in the same position as you with 6.75" wrists. Considering the Aquanaut and comfort is very important!

Well between a 5711/5712 and an Aquanaut sure I prefer a Nautilus, for me the perfect duo is a 5712 and 5167R, yeah I know not cheap, or 5711 and 5167, or just one of these, in any case great watches, just that the Nautilus is a hugely iconic watch and I usually prefer on bracelet than rubber, but by a slight margin, the Aquas are really cool but IMO don't have that iconic status, and for the price difference if to have only one then yes it would definitely be a nautilus, but in any case don't think you can go wrong, which ever you choose, never heard bad things about 5167's here... Anyways congrats on the incoming, both Aquas and Nauts are amazing sporty watches

It's funny Neil how for me my perfect PP combo is the contrary, SS Nautilus, preferably 5712 but 5711 is great, and RG 5167, but hey it's just a taste question and any of these watches, SS or RG are amazing

I've had mine for 20 years. it's a wonderful low profile watch which I prefer. my daughter
helped me buy it when she opined that the Nautalus dial was so boring. I like it that
generally WIS and not muggers know what it is.

I would say both are very comfortable although my experience of the Nautilus has been brief. The 5167a is incredibly nice to wear. I've been playing pool tonight wearing it and you really just forget it's there.

Thanks for all the replies, they've really helped compound my thoughts that I bought the right watch :-)
