ALS aint going anywhere but my wrist. But seriously, moving up to the 3448 would take some consolidation of the collection. Regarding the 5070P - it's as good as advertised.

I chose 5960, because I like sportier looking watches,
But all 3 are stunners!
There are no wrong choices here..

5070 is almost always the answer.

I really enjoy wearing my 5960R. It hits all the notes as far as I am concerned. It is a great size and there is a lot of bang for the buck and it looks great on the wrist.

I reckon it is, Gus. But in terms of a collection the 1815 and 5070 are very close in aesthetics and style...

Maybe, but collections change. I'd get the watch you like the best. If after a period of time you find you always wear one more than the other you can move it on. If you were to sell the 5070 you're not going to lose anything.

Your 1815 is absolutely fantastic,

The 5070G is definitely infringing on the 1815 aesthetic...

But then again, it was you offered it as a choice

I am very partial to the manual wind options, any of those would work if it were me

Final thought, the 5070P would depart from the 1815 aesthetic just enough to make it tolerable

Obviously I would suggest the 5070
But all 3 are nice and interesting
The 5960 would be my last choice. I like it and sometimes wear one belonging to a good friend
But I do prefer a manual wind for that kind of watches....so 5960 would not be to one to get

And the funny thing after all this input is that at the end of the day nobody uses the chrono complication ....that's why I had the 5960P twice cuz it's practical and there is the chrono if u need to use it. Functionality it makes sense.....now if u see it in the no logic way of your heart then you want the 5070 ; therefore the struggle
Good luck

I think 5070 is the ultimate watch ; but u had the J before ...interested in knowing the rationale why you prefer G now, just curious....u might not have a logical explanation (in watches that's allowed) but if u do , please do
Thx

Who said I prefer the G over the J? He didn't list the J as an option - he listed only the G in his poll vs the 5170G black or 5960P grey.

I realize that as soon as I posted but decided to leave my post anyway just to see if you had any insight regarding the topic

Too similar in my book although clearly both beauties. I'd pick the 5170 but I like martins best

I like all versions of the 5070 but for versatility sake I prefer the G. Rose gold black dial is sweet though. The platinum is also double the price of the G which is quite steep.

I need to see it on the flesh , because Yes The G is more versatile but the R has way more contrast.

You may wish to consider flipping your existing 1815 to get the newer version. It's case back is beyond words and absolutely breathtaking.

As for paring, I wouldn't get another chrono if you already have the 1815. Go for a perpetual Calender.

I have the newest version, the boutique edition. Chose it over the Dato because of it's size.

Which Patek Chrono

I would say the 5170 g white dial....... But I would say that as I own one, more discrete and classy!
Or completely different the 5960 1/a
Have a good day
