Grateful, happy and proud to some degree.
Worked hard to get them.

Well, when I was in cancun last week and was dining with family on Xelha , a guy stopped me in the dining area and asked me what I was wearing and I told him it was the Dssd. He said all compliments and asked me if I was a surgeon. I'm like not really.
Point is, we should.all be so lucky and blessed.

But seriously- I love it. The big thing is that I love the design- it just looks amazing to me. It's a personal self-indulgence that I can enjoy daily and extremely lucky that I have the means to own one.

Hey nothing wrong with kahkis as long as they are rocked properly.

Oh, didn't mean to imply there was a problem with them. 👍

I worked for it. Accomplished. Wearing a great "value" that gets me there on time, sometimes conscious about my surroundings when i feel people might develop ulterior motives. I love the Rolexes in our families life.

I enjoy having what I think is a nearly perfect mechanical device on my wrist that looks fantastic. What others might think is not relevant.
I'm not lucky or fortunate. I earned the money and chose to spend it on the two watches. Had I not spent it on them I would have found something else.
I spend nearly the price of a stainless Sub every year just to moor and maintain my boat, so owning these watches that retain at least some of their value, compared to moorage, seems reasonable to me.
The brand is important. No other brand of fine watch appeals, much as I can appreciate how others may admire them.

A Spanish brand named Callaghan. I love this model called Abiatar. They are pretty damn versatile and comfy too. I bought two pairs when I was vacationing in Spain last year. I wish I bought more colors! I'm going to Portugal next month and there are resellers there, so I might pick up another two.

I feel totally satisfied because I know how hard it was to acquire, how long it took, and that it was well deserved.

Well, to be honest ?
I really feel like I'm wearing a solid watch !
It's timeless design, impeccable mechanical
time keeping , lasts a lifetime and then some if
properly maintained ... Plus that's it's decorated
with the brand Rolex that carries heritage and prestige
in the horology world doesn't hurt either ...
It's beauty and design complementing me is Barr none !!!
No other watch makes me feel special like a Rolex !!!
But I wear it for me ... I feel like I'm on top the world
cause I worked my buns off to earn it and wear it proud !!!

I got mine as a reward for losing a significant amount of weight. So everytime I wear it I feel a sense of accomplishment.

i love it!

I've owned several watch brands, but the looks of Rolex just sing to me more. I love looking down at my wrist just to admire them. I also have two Tudors, a BBBlue and a North Flag. I like the NF but love the BBBlue because of the looks even though the nF has a superior movement.
