Congratulations on both events. Please don't think I'm raining on your parade and I think it looks great with the updates but from the pictures I've seen it would appear the hour pointer beyond the mercedes is ever so slightly short to achieve perfection. I'm still going to acquire it when I can but maybe its just the way it photographs and is perfect in the flesh. Could you advise? Thanks

Nice pick up and wow a very nice gesture from your AD. Its nice to hear good experiences with AD's as most of the time you only hear of the rants about bad experiences. Happy anniversary!

Thanks for all the kind words. Oscarpapa, I haven't really noticed that before. I guess you kind of have a point but we are talking miniscule amounts, nothing I'm going to loose sleep over. If you think it might be a problem for you then once you see one up close, for real then you can decide. I still think its pretty perfect and as you drew my attention to the detail of the point past the Mercedes hand, I started to look closer and was amazed at how perfect the tiny triangle of lume was. The more you look at it the more detail you see.

On a side note,
As my job gets me travelling around Scotland quite a lot. I am going to try and get some wrist shots in with some stunning Scottish backgrounds. Watch this space.

Thanks Earnyourturns for your reply. It was just an observation and as you say a very minor/miniscule detail and certainly wouldn't put me off getting one which as you say is now pretty perfect and the only one I currently would be interested in purchasing. Enjoy.

Im kinda used to the older hands on the "T-Rex" Explorer..

So those long hands look more like "Octopus" Explorer.

Just kidding

Not my picture but a great one of what looks like the moon rolling down one of the mountains in Glencoe, Scotland. Nothing to do with Rolex but cool nonetheless.
