Here's another vote for the new Explorer 214270. Or like suggested above. Maybe a Tudor. The Pelagos gets a lot of praise on this forum. Personally I also really like the new IWC Mark XVIII ("Le Petit Prince" edition). They definitely got it right this time around = going back to basic. As with the Tudor, lots of value in the IWC.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Joe

Either a Rolex Submariner, or an Omega Speedmaster - both are fundamentally classic, historically important watches. The latter a chronograph literally capable of functioning in a place where there's hard vacuum and 500 degrees difference between sunlight and shadow, while the former is the archetype of the dive watch.

Keep browsing, something will eventually hit you. If not...then you've got a nice trio already and $10k in your bank account. Move too fast just to get something and you end up with regret and a loss when you sell it off.

Otherwise, plenty of good suggestions tossed out in the Rolex camp already - Exp II (I'd even consider the older 40mm version...for $10k you can have both white and black dials), hulk, Tudor Pelagos, etc.

Then you can also branch out into a number of other brands, though for less than $10k, Rolex or Tudor are good bang for the buck and hold value well.

As for a Sea Dweller, if you really like it, give it a chance. My personal favorite all around watch. All brushed bracelet, no cyclops, different bezel, no GMT hand...plenty of differences from the GMT despite a very similar dial. Hell, I wear both and I've brushed the polished GMT bracelet making them even more similar.

Spending $10,000 on something that doesn't excite you doesn't make sense.

I have a YG DayDate, BLNR, Patek, DateJust and some inexpensive watches.

The DateJust is my favorite! Mine has the Jubilee bracelet, white dial and stick hour markers. It is subtle, goes with anything, wears like smoke on your wrist, goes under any sleeve cuff, and is classically Rolex. It doesn't say "look at me", yet is stylish.

Hulk or Daytona. White dialed Daytona would be my recommendation for you, either steel or ceramic bezel, whichever you prefer.

Nice collection.

If looking for diversity, many of the standard options are covered.

I would consider a manual wind on strap, it would add a nice option and you may find it gets more wear than you expect?

with that collection I'd go for something really unique, smaller but not dressy. JLC Geophysic True Second would be my choice...I love the simplicity of the watch and the unique movement.

I like the suggestions of a 214270 or a simple Reverso (best get a white dial one for variety). Plus lose the Breitling and get a Hesalite Speedmaster :)

I'd say white Daytona, SDc, Milgauss, Datejust 2, if wanting Rolex. Other great watches are the Moon Watch or anything in the Grand Seiko catalog, with your budget you could get both. Or save a little more and look into an AP 15400 or a PP 5167

I would go with a Polar Explorer II and a Blue Pelagos. All for under 10K.

Grand Seiko High Beat GMT. I like this limited edition green dial, but the white dial is stunning too.

What would be the fun in that? This way the OP can socialize with other watch geeks, get suggestions he may not have thought about, and enjoy a protracted hunt for the next cool thing.

These words exactly.
The polar is a great all rounder and a stunning white dial with immense legibility.
