If you want to put your watch down on a Friday evening after work and pick it up on Monday morning and still be running, then it certainly is an advantage. A watch with ~40hr reserve (if you even get 40 hrs) will need resetting. The new movement will not. So the advantage is you don't need to reset it, or put it on a winder.
If you wear it everyday then it is less or no advantage. |
