i use precision screwdrivers every day at work , huge differences , but you just seem to find a favourite couple that cover most things between them , i got mine from a specialist optical supplier , ill look for the brand tomorrow.

I have both bracelets on 36mm Datejusts and the screws are the same. The Rolex 2100 screwdriver works on both. The same works on the Oyster on the Submariner, Explorer, etc. The screws on the 34mm new Yachtmaster are smaller.

I've been curious about the alternatives, so thanks to all for posting! I've seen too many threads where usually the ADs mess up the screw heads. I think I would go for the Rolex 2100 if that is available any more. Here is a good thread with great close-ups of the 2100. Cheers!

I always thought Bergeron would be the best but they really are garbage. My go-to screwdrivers for everything watch-related is Wiha. Excellent quality tips and just the right sizes and shapes for watches - inside and out.

Well that’s just rained on my parade lol. I ordered the Bergeon to adjust the bracelet on my watch rather than taking it to an AD!
Surely if I’m careful enough the screwdriver will suffice to adjust the watch for the first time? As highly unlikely I will be continuously adjusting links.....

There is no way the screws accept a 1.6mm driver. If I had micro photography capability I'd show a picture as proof. Maybe there are different versions of the jubilee bracelet, but for the most modern super jubilee used on 6-digit DJs there's no way you can use the same screwdriver as on a 6-digit Submariner Oyster bracelet, for example. What is the size of the Rolex 2100 screwdriver?

Ask an AD to order you one.
But please note, my local AD was not aware the the 2100 Rolex Screwdiver was available to the public. I insisted he contact Rolex UK. He did, he ordered me one on receipt of my £21.00.(about) Sounds expensive but worth it. It is small, obviating the possible risk of stripping a thread. It fits the slot perfectly. |

Are there knock offs that are sold, as in some of the ones listed on fleabay? It appears they have both the gold one mentioned in this thread, only green and the 2100s.

Horotec 1.8 for me...
Once the tip length has been taken back it fits the slot like a glove with no play whatsoever. Its also fairly easy and quick to take the 0.1 of the width to make a perfect 1.7mm driver. Never had any deformation of the screw slots. Driver blades are normally dressed for individual screws. ![]() |

I used my Panerai screw driver on my Explorer I bracelet and it worked great. It doesnt work on Tudor BB's oyster though. For that, I use my Bergeon 1.40mm and it did the job without any fuzz.
