If he's a friend give him a better price, you will still do very nicely.

Seriously you flew to a country to pick up a watch now that my friend is a dedication, up to you if its worth selling it. Big congrats!

So you flew out of the EU, bought the watch tax free outside the EU and came back with the taxfree watch inside the EU?
How did you handle with customs on your return in the EU?

Can't go wrong whatever you choose to do.

But...I think I would keep it and enjoy it.

Thank you, gents.
If my friend doesn't buy from me, he will buy it from someone else.
And if I don't sell it to him, I will sell it to someone else.

I will make less than €8000, you forgot my ticket.....

I picked it up in an EU country and I went back to an EU country. I don't have to declare it to the customs.
The airport is not Schiphol.

In this situation, I don't know if I'd like to be your friend. Unless as said friend, I've just got a pile of money laying around and want to help you out. Either way, fantastic watch and congrats!

Great watch. Hope your friend does not find this thread or at least knows the premium he is paying. Pretty easy to figure out what an airline ticket cost these days.

He knows it is 11450 euro, and tax free is minus 22% tax.
