Isn't the BLNR pretty rare to find in the UK?

Relatively rare yes! I have bought 2 (part ex'ed the first for a bi metal daytona, which was a bad move and I shouldn't have done it). I had to wait 2 months for the first, 3 months for the second. Both from an AD.

They are available grey market, but list is £6550 and they are going for £7450-£7750 grey market

I am going to move the BLNR on. I have already owned one once, and I feel if the Rolex is going to become a daily wearer with an AP as a second watch it makes sense to move the BLNR on for circa £7 000 as opposed to the black bezel GMT which would go for circa £5 000.

Going to shift the BLNR, then decide which AP and if I have a happy rotation - great.

If I find I am always wearing the AP then I will cash in on the GMT.

Good comments on the AP's too, and now totally undecided between the 15400 and the ROC. Plus the 15202 is now in play, and to add to that there is a dual time at a local independent which looks great.

I had a 15300 blue dial before which I traded for the GMT Master plus cash in a move to free up some more funds for an over budget home renovation project and I miss having an AP. So having both the AP and the GMT sounds like a great solution :)

Now you get to try them on! I really do think it's the battle of the BLUES. The blue dial 15400 boutique only edition or blue dial 15202.

Guess it depends on your wrist size/what look you prefer. Since you originally wanted the ROC, I'm betting on the 41 mm 15400.

Sounds like you have a plan 15400 blue dial would be my choice! or 15202 depending on the budget

My local independent has a white dial ROC which I tried on at lunchtime. Brand new, box, papers.

Wow. What a watch.

It felt like the Rolls Royce of watches. Amazing.

BLNR has gone!

I have the choice of adding my black GMT to the deal for the BLNR, and having a used Royal Oak Dual time with no cash changing hands.

Or adding the GMT and £5500 and having the Royal Oak Chrono.

Serious thinking to do :-)
