A yellow gold DD. Or DJ if you can find one all gold, bracelet included.
Don't forget the white linen suit.

When I first started time-trials, everything we rode was experimental, from the use of carbon fiber, titanium, to disc wheels. It was estimated that the bikes were in excess of $100,000. The bikes were rarely from the factory that paid for the stickers we rode.
Now the bike I ride is the top of the line Eddy Merckx, that retails for around $25,000; I guess I was downsized from a Ferrari to a Honda. How times change!
I bet you will be very popular with the ladies with the top down and your Trek peeking out the back seat.
P.S. It will be more important than ever to shave your arms for both displaying the Platona to your arm on the door sill.

I am, but that doesn't stop the ladies from rolling their eyes at me. If you ever meet me, you'll understand completely.

There is no way the bicycle will fit in any part of that car. Bicycles have come a long way as you know. My 2005 Discovery Channel Trek starts to shimmy pretty bad at 60mph. My 2012 Madone was stable at 65 (top speed at the 6 gap century with Dr. Tom). Haven't had the opportunity to test the newest one. We are pretty limited on roads that allow that speed. Most have very sharp turns.

I'm thinking my white dial 116520 will look really good on the wrist with the top down. I'll just have to rotate through all of them for quality purposes.

Nice!!! Did you do the deal where you pick the car up at the factory and drive it around their test track? I don't know if they still offer that. Shoot me an email if you're back up this way. We'll grab lunch with another TRFer, Jeff.

Wives seem to have that eye roll off to a tee, I used exactly the same grown up logic as you Bill when I pointed out that I was coming up to my 60th birthday and that a Patek has 60 seconds on the dial, I got that eye roll and the answer, "so does your Rolex."
