worst thing is AD has no reason to do what he did. just because the OP wasn't a fuerdai looking for 3 platinum sertis at MSRP + 20%, doesn't mean AD shouldn't treat him well. it's bad for the brand.

Dan, in the future, ask the professional's here who have an accumulated wealth of knowledge
as to what options you have that may alleviate any future issues with your ROLEX Acquisition, Service, or even silly questions.

A Good Rule: Don't trust anyone until you check here first...

Unbelievable. I would have walked. To be treated like that when they stand to make a nice profit for nearly zero effort. There are of course multiple sides to every story, but it sure sounds like this AD needs blacklisted.

Im confused on the way they were acting. I would of refused to use them. I would of contacted Dallas and figured out the proper way of sending them my watch. I do understand sending it through an AD. They have the liability of making sure it gets to dallas but there was no reason the way they were acting.

I am sure it will work out Ok for you - just give the RSC time to come back to you. They will do a great job and all will be well...........put this one down to experience and next time deal with the RSC direct or find yourself a different AD!!

Don't want to bad mouth AD by using name. If these problems aren't rectified and service was poorly done then I will bad mouth lol until then let's see what happens. I will get it all sorted hopefully I will know soon what is going on. Another note emailed AD manager as I work all day and it is usually better to email and 2 days later still no response. I understand, lesson is now learned.

This is the best thread on sending a watch to RSC. I keep it bookmarked.

The Rolex Service Centers will accept FedEx but you have to get approval through them first. I have shipped some of my Rolex watches back and fourth by FedEx. Your personal insurance will have to provide the insurance coverage.
The reason they may want it shipped by FedEx is if you or they have had problems with shipping by the USPS. The USPS here lost my Rolex for a week and the RSC had a rough time trying to get them to look for it. So when I had to return it for an adjustment they suggested and agreed on FedEx. The only catch is Rolex wants the watch signed for upon delivery and not held at a shipping center due to the risk of theft or loss.

It's unfortunate that you received such bad customer service. Check your receipt and tracking #.

What's the AD name? To never buy or solicit anything from them. What a bad service.

Here's a lesson: always bypass the AD.
