Congrats, beautiful pair! We have similar taste, but I made the mistake of not realizing that the 116234 belongs on the super jubilee in the first place It took me quite some time to finally find one.

Beautiful! I love the fluted bezel on DJ/DDs.

Love the forum!! Cheers
Congrats and welcome to the Forum.

The Datejust is a timeless classic in my opinion and pairs very well with the Sub.

My favorite Datejust combi......silver dial & jubilee bracelet. Congrats to you!
Mind telling us what's your wrist size? I am thinking of getting a Datejust 36, but lately there was a thread mentioning the Datejust 41 has a 39.5mm case. So I am torn between the two Datejust.

It doesn't get much more classic than that. Congrats!

yes! The 116234 has to be on a jubilee. There's a 116200 on a jubilee for sale right now and it just doesn't look right. Fluted with jubilee - domed with oyster I say

Congrats! Just acquired a 116234 DJ to balance my 14060m Sub. It is easily the best-wearing watch I've ever owned -- wears comfortably, but with a certain heft provided by the super jubilee bracelet. I was also surprised at how well the polished lugs compliment the fluted bezel. Just a great watch!

That's a beauty. Exactly what I am looking to do, add to my sub with a 116234.
