This is one of the reasons I like wearing mine so much, besides it being incredibly comfortable.

The only improvement would be an Easylink on the clasp. That would make this watch perfect.

Oh boy, hot topic here.

1st, the oysterflex on the yachtmaster doesn't fit the case snug. That's a fact.
2nd, the prices of these 2 watches should not be as close as they are given the differences in complications and the price differences of the stainless and two tone models. That's an opinion.

BUT - there are a ton of us that have the 116515 Daytona. I have had mine 2 years now. I looked around, no other Daytonas on ceramic until the Platinum came out. I knew the 116518 and 116519 would get there eventually.

Everyone's came on leather unless you bought it 2nd hand. I moved mine to rubber b to give it more flexibility in wear.

Positive side: at least rolex got it right and the strap fits the case snug.

Negative side: my clasp doesn't work with easy link oysterflex, so supposedly it's $3,000 to get a new one. I'm not sure what the cost is for a swap out. Either way, I think it's much more financially sound to just buy a $200 rubber b in black vs. $3k to retrofit the oysterflex.

What does that mean? You can try it on today. You just won't get the ones with oysterflex.

Yes...I don't know why so many people think everyone needs to have a Daytona. I personally do not care for them. That's why Rolex gives us choices.

What a beauty. And looks great.

Love the watch, not loving the rubber B. But I'm probably in the minority with that one.

I just don't get the whole Rubber Band thing at all.

I agree with this^^^^! If you can swing it, full gold and then rubber if you want. I am not a rubber guy!

Must agree about pricing, should be 16k msrp (12k street).

Daytona rose gold new on leather go for 21k, or a bit less so that's my guide. Feel that Rokex got their pricing a bit too high and why the YM in rg seem to be in abundance and at almost every store.
