Ok so who cares, I'd buy from bozo the clown if the price was right.

It's not. I never really see ANY good deals on their IG. The owner flosses videos left and right driving $400,000 cars and popping bottles. The margins baby, they support that lifestyle. I think I'm a better buyer at this time. I don't need to buy from mr. flash.

But maybe he's a solid dude? A real WIS? I ran into him during Art Basel, told him my next watch was a DD40. He said to me - no man, you need the DD41.

Cool. I can barely see so DD41 doesn't have a dial with lumed batons like the DD 40 has - Salesmanship 101. Listen to your customer. No sale for me.

You can make your own judgements.
Actually for me he's a bit on the crass side; I understood his opinions. I guess the presentation is in the name of entertainment. So it goes.

I couldn't watch more than one minute of that video. Maybe I didn't get to the good stuff. Whatever.

Yeah I remember in his Day Date video he said anyone over 18 who buys a 36 mm Day Date is "retarded" and that he thinks Rolex is "smoking crack" because they went to the DD 40 instead of the DD II

Steel sky dweller retail is low but servicing cost is high. They may charge $2k more for servicing in long term they will take back everything. Independent watchmakers unable to service skydweller.

He is a dealer. He likely stock up alot of daydate II that is why. He will say anything beneficial to him.

Which potential buyer in his right mind would complain about the low price of the steel Sky-Dweller? I don't get the whole "it's too cheap" criticism, have we all become idiots or what? It's still a 14K piece, hello!

Best Basel 2017 rant ever

Guys, relax. Take CRM jewelers and Eric for what they are--South Beach jewelers. What do you expect? Sobe is one of the flashiest places on Earth.

Also, just because you don't buy from them (I haven't and prob won't), doesn't mean this video isn't amusing.

You guys all know that the jewelry, furniture and car dealer/auto industries are some of the most unscrupulous and unregulated industries out there? Right?

I did not know that Rolex made a Leopard Daytona (as shown near the end of the video).

Eric's videos are entertaining, I've watched several and although his opinions aren't always agreed with they are just that his opinions. I've never bought anything from CRM and I agree their prices are definitely on the higher side, perfect example a used LVc listed for more than I paid for mine BNIB from a seller here. I think a lot of it also has to do with the local Miami crowd they cater to which is all about being flashy.

Funny that all of the foreign-US guys don't like this video which is a bit of an aggressive and crass rant that was caused by frustration.

Sort of like the Trump phenomenon.

CRM likely sold a ton of Skydwellers on the premise that its Rolex's flagship/most complicated movement. It does appear a off at $2000 more than a Date Just 2.

That guy in the rant video is the complete polar opposite of Tim from watchuwantinc videos, Tim is unbelievably eloquent and his videos are a treat to watch.

Tim from watchuwant epitomizes a watch reviewer w his diction, tone and voice. It is almost too perfect.

I think it's great for people to have opinions and a way to express them publicly, BUT, in order for me to want to pay attention, I expect a little more "analysis" than just "I hate them hands." By all means, hate them hands, but tell us why you think the aesthetic is messed up, where the issue lies, etc. Your opinion may help to shape my opinion, but not if you can't explain it. "Ugly ass hands" is not really much of an explanation.

I have no idea what 'foreign-US' means... an American who's gone to a different country maybe? If so I fall into that category and I couldn't get far into the video either.

It starts out trashy but I thought I'd give it a shot, then he opens with praising the new SD which told me everything I needed to know about him and his audience.
