You got it, I sort of found substitutes for the other two in other brands but not that Blue Sub.

Yellow gold gets my vote. With my brown skin, yellow gold pops and rose gold blends with my skin tone. So I highly suggest trying it out in person before deciding, maybe go couple times to see how you feel. There have been times I absolutely loved the watch and then when I saw it again for the second time, I didn't get that excited and vice versa.

hope this helps.

I adore rose gold, but I'm female and do feel it's a bit more feminine.

Try on a rg and yg and see which color looks better on you. Some people don't work too well with each. I can't wear yg as it don't look nice on me compare to rg.
Rg just look so much better on me then yg

I've always like the YG GMT (and still do) but the RG Daytona in the photo next to the GMT looks awesome as well. Good luck on your pursuit!

Rose gold always looks so much better to me in the photos than in person. With that said I keep thinking a RG Daytona is in my distant future!

For DD I would go yellow gold for sure.

I'm debating this exact question for myself right now before I get a DD36 and I have to say YG is looking to be the winner!

solid gold is amazing on wrist; in my case prefer WG for an under the radar versus YG or RG

I feel like the RG is a current fad I may be wrong and it will stand the test of time but the local AD told me the RG pieces are very slow movers in the mens watches.

I feel you have to put them on and see which matches your skin tone. I personally LOVE the RG, but it does not blend well with my skin tone as does the YG. Again, that's just my opinion.

I think the comments mentioning skin tone are highly accurate in regards to your question. I much prefer RG personally as a visible pm on any watch.

Maybe twenty years ago, but now it is the staple coloured gold for AP, PP and the like.

RG is the closest to my skin tone so if I want to go under the radar this is a better choice than an SS in fact.

Having seen the PP and AP rose in the flesh. Amazing, on another level compared to Rolex rose. The submariner blue in gold might be the answer but I have a TT right now. Doesn't feel like a real upgrade going from tt blue to solid gold blue, im scared I won't have the new watch feels

Now that you mentioned PP and AP. The rose gold royal oak 15400 in blue or black dial and the patek 5711 in rose on bracelet. Both on my list also. Although
I would need insurance. For the watch and for my life once my wife sees the price tags

My AD also told me rose gold is a slow seller and not very popular. I believe him because I was asking his opinion of YG and RG and he was steering me towards the cheaper one.

Hopefully this picture will help you. It really depends on your skin tone as to which looks the best.

You will feel the difference. Your bank account will be 25k lighter, and a gold Sub on wrist considerably heavier.
