Rhodium dial for me. I just can't get used to those green dots on the blue dial.

If I were choosing one of those two it would be the blue. Mainly because, with the green pips, the dial has Seattle Seahawks colors.

SS with either dial is just beautiful, rhodium or blue. Color is just so subjective - get what you love!

Both dial colors are amazing and you can't go wrong with either one .. but I personally do prefer the blue dial. Me and my wife wanted to get "matching" watches and when I got the OP 39mm blue dial, she fell in love with it, but she actually preferred the rhodium dial and she went and got it, so it worked out perfectly for our plan. Seeing both on a day to day basis, they are both beautiful but I find the blue hypnotizing and timeless, it goes with anything. And an additional note, the rhodium dial is a bit harder to tell the time, especially under certain lighting conditions, with the blue dial, that is less of an issue.

Also just wanted to share the blue dial, under two separate lighting conditions to show you how the blue dial can be subdued, almost black, but yet can also really pop and pick up light in a very special way.

Thanks for those photos. Even though I've seen both watches and tried them both on it was under optimal lighting conditions. You're photos give me a good idea about dial readability in more subdued lighting. And at my age that's important.

Ever since Basel 2015, I've had my eye on the rhodium.
For the rhodium is the most conservative of all 3 colours obviously.
I also like the fact the OP has been going for decades and decades ,for this reason the classic dial colour is more in keeping with the oyster perpetual of yesteryear.
But the blue is nice .

Contrast

The rhodium dial looks different every time you look at it. You never get board of it. You end up liking how the blue dots contrast with the grey. If this dial was rhodium only it would be dull.

I'm still debating between the rhodium and the blue. My plans were to go to the AD this week but they've been closed for two days for religious reasons.
I'll go in the morning for one last look and then make my decision since I already have DSW standing by, ready to ship.

I know Ed. It's practically even which is surprising.
I guess it's a winner either way.

I was fortunate to try on the rhodium a while back at the AD...it was spectacular, and I'm a huge blue dial fan.

Rhodium by a nose for me.

Rhodium is amazing but quite hard to tell the time on. Personally I would go for the navy blue 3/6/9 dial. That's the pick of the bunch.
