I am sure I will love my steel Daytona C but if someone put it and the Platona out on the counter and said take your pick....I would go with the Platona. In fact I would go with the diamond version and it is the only precious metal and stone I would even choose.

What difference would that make? It's completely imperceptible as far as I can tell, and I've tried both on.

Sorry guys I have all three and the SS versions can't hold a candle to the Platona with its ice blue dial and full platinum bracelet, not even close so don't kid yourselves

The Platona is beautiful but not an all day everyday watch for many of us mere mortals. The 116500 is more of an daily wearer.
