Very nice, Dan. I have an identical photograph of me and my wife, where I was sporting an older 16700. Nice shots. Fun city, isn't it?

que votre voyage soit plein de joie!
have a great time, don;t forget to go to the porte de versailles stop on the métro, get the 80 bus, which starts right there and ride it all the way up to montmartre, a great route that takes in most of the best sights.
and don;t forget to stop in any of the cemeteries, see all the celebrities of french culture and how they are still visited daily!

Lovely photos, Dan - I take it that's your new bezel insert that you got in London.

That enormous Rolex building looks impressive - no doubt you managed to get inside .

Have a great time

With so much to see in one day I didn't have the time. Not sure if it was the RSC in Paris or an AD.

It looks like a pretty important Rolex complex to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the official RSC. I bet they've got some pretty impressive Rolex watches in there. Are you sure that you've not got something to tell us about a new Daytona under your shirt sleeve .

I hope that you're both really enjoying your European Tour - you're certainly getting about.

The way you're going, you'll need another month off to recover .

Enjoy the rest of your whistle-stop tour

Thanks, Neil. No, no Daytona up my sleeve. I'm packing and getting ready for bed. Got an early flight home tomorrow. Been a while since I've had a chance to be at home for any stretch. Not sure where home is come to think of it.
Yes, we've had a blast.

Well, Dan, have a safe trip back and I'm sure you'll take some great memories and pictures back with you.

You and the UK contingent have certainly enriched the Forum with your London GTG shared stories, photos and anecdotes - the popularity of the threads speak for themselves.

Very best wishes and Bon Voyage tomorrow

Well, thanks again. I can't tell how great it was to meet the UK contingent. All very gracious gentlemen with interesting stories and backgrounds. Each made me feel right at home as did everyone I've meet here. London is a very contagious city of beauty and history. Paris, as well, was a wonder to the senses. But personally meeting with the UK TRF members has been the highlight of my trip.
