I do both hand wash and car wash we don't have a good carwash close by basically I'm lazy when it comes to this so I would prefer a car wash

I have the car detailed whenever the missus hints it's dirty. The truck gets detailed once a year and hosed off in the drive whenever it starts to show soil.

Used to enjoy washing and waxing the truck myself but at some point, the time for that disappeared.

Hand on wash my E550. I like getting into all the nooks and crannies and getting the entire car spotless.

I run em through a wash. Find a good one with well trained guys, and get friendly.
I use one by my office and one by my house. They treat my cars great. I do the detailing once the foundation is done.

In the winter time only is auto wash. I put my watch down a special radio antenna and run that through at the same time.

I've a 2004 Honda Jazz with 170k on the clock
I usually wash it every week myself weather permitting. In the winter I use autoglym high resin polish. In the summer - autoglym high definition wax. It's an old car but I like to start the week knowing it's hoovered, washed, polished & the dash wiped over. The autoglym range of products is best for those on a budget |

Company car? Costco car wash. Amazing for less than $9
My personal cars? Two bucket method. Meguairs NXT wash, sheepskin mitt, microfiber waffle drying towel. Meguiars D115 as a final wipe down. Swirl free for years. |

I do my own . It's therapy for me .
I use Meguiars car wash, followed by a claying, then wax with Pinnacle Sovereign Wax. I'll only clay the car once ,every four to six weeks. |

My daily is also my overlanding rig.
Cleanliness doesn't matter when I have scratches up and down the side from offroading. However, I do keep it relatively neat. Think of it as well kept patina. I auto-wash it twice a week, and get it professionally detailed teice per year. I also get unlimited free carwashes through work though, so that may have something to do with it. |

On my daily drivers such as wifes and the pick up trucks are treated with a handwash car club, for a monthly fee I can bring them in as many times as I want.....but for the SLS and the Ferrari, I wash them myself at home or will bring it to the professional detailer where I had them put on the ceramic coating.

My car gets washed twice a year, once when it goes for MOT and once at service time.

Lifelong car-nut. Nobody washes my cars but me. In fact I wash all the cars in the family.
Not into the clay-bar, wax thing however. Not THAT obsessive. Used to wax the cars every year but haven't done that for a decade as none of them sit out in the weather.

I wash my own cars and invested in a pressure washer and foam cannon to expedite the process. Having 2 SUV's it's expensive to get hand washed regularly and I like a clean car. Plus it's hard to find someone who will do it better than yourself. As for products, I used to be picky getting Mothers or Zymol now it's whatever Costco has. I will not wax them however, that's a once year job for the detailing company.

I do it myself. Usually using a power washer, then a lance for the soap. Two bucket method scrub. Power wash clean. California blade to get the water off.

I'm not going to a car show, so I don't sweat it. If I want a better job, I pay a little extra. The unlimited platinum express wash is very convenient for me and the price is right. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
