I would make the trade but I strongly prefer the brushed bracelet of the sd4k to the PCLs of the BLNR.

The BLNR is the most comfortable watch I've ever worn, and the splash of blue on the bezel is just enough to make it interesting.

I'd add a legacy model SD. I just don't see how this model is better. It's just different.

Add me to the list of those who say do it!

I love a GMT more than most, but there's just something about that particular SD. I'd love to get one, just not in the cards for me at this time.

Good question. I couldn't decide either, so I just kept them both.

While I like the Batman better than the SD 4000. If I were you I'd make the trade. Get the watch you want.

The SD4K is my favorite watch ever, so count me amongst those in favor of the deal.

I'm usually function first, but if you don't love the LNBL and don't have a use for a GMT (or think of finding a 2nd time zone solution later), I would do this instantly. I think the SD4K is the quintessential diver of our time. I'm really bummed it's discontinued and prices shot up since Basel...

If I was flipping a BLNR, it would be for the new SD. Just my thoughts.

I had a 16600 for ages and it was my daily go to watch and I traded it for a brand new DJII .. a little part of me has always regretted it but I do like my DJII so I stand by my decision... but I think I'm more s diver guy then a gmt guy

out of the two I would go for the sd. I seem to be in the minority on this forum in not feeling the blnr.

It seems like an OK trade, if the BLNR isn't floating your boat then it's gotta go.

Nope. Keep the BLNR. Besides, SD43 with a new movement is a better choice than vintage SD4K even if flipping BLNR, IMHO.

I know the past is the past but having bought my SDc when it was a cast away I can't help but laugh at how this thread would have went had the OP posted this deal a year ago
