Would I notice the difference, heck no!! I never check any of my watches. Did notice my old Tudor sub was off about 3 minutes after 60 days on the winder. And it badly needs a service. Don't think it's been done since 1992.

I was thinking of going to NY RSC but I just read a story today on this forum that makes me cringe. Hoping the OP of this thread has better luck!

Today this new spec for time of testing to -2+2 seconds its mainly pure marketing as brands like Omega were first to announce this -2+2 spec.But the bare uncased movements are still tested at the COSC to the -4+6 AVERAGE daily spec to get the COSC certification.After COSC test movements are shipped back to Rolex ones that passed then stored for weeks months or longer.Then Rolex re-regulates on a machine after movement has been cased.Now if this is true they must have some sort of machine that can do many at a time when you think of all the watches they sell each year.What does this new spec in the real world mean, well just like the COSC test at time of testing movement met that testing spec.Now this dont mean movement will run exactly the same daily for life,but hopefully run to the AVERAGE -2+2 on the wrist, but throughout its life will need intermittent regulation.Regulation is the key factor in any movements overall time-keeping most all movement parts today are machine made including Rolex.So in theory they should be all the same once assembled but many factors affect movements on the wrist.They are constantly affected by the earth's gravity, metal expansion and contraction, temperature variations, subtle changes in lubrication and friction,mainspring power-reserve, shocks, and so on.So even if tested on a timing machine to -2+2 seconds its not always the same on the owners wrist or even same watch someone else's wrist its that simple its because its mechanical.
