Congrats and can't wait to see what you ended up with! I'm also toying with the same idea but with 2 watches (16710 and 16610LV) and the rest are in the safety deposit box.

I'm actually toying with the idea too, of being a one-watch guy. Hopefully I'll get over it.

I'm a one watch guy as well, but that one watch varies each day/week/month :)

Bravo. Now that I have my SLA017, I'm no longer a one-watch man and frankly two feels like one too many, so we'll see how this goes. Can't wait to see what you're getting.

Good time to consolidate as the the secondary watch market is collapsing.

Some models might be 100% unsaleable in the near future unless there is a rebound...

Congrats on the grail. Like I read earlier, i have watches associated with great memories that I desire to pass on. There's a hulk that I wore when my oldest and I fished the Keys twice & caught crazy #s of fish. There is a my Submersible that I had the best surf day ever wearing with my kids. Ex1 was my 1st "grail" when I had no idea what a grail was. A Luminox my wife bought at humbler times when I finished my training. I recently sold 4 watches that had nothing associated with them. It's good to simplify.

It is?? Where??

Many watches are selling at all time highs and modern models haven't dipped in value either.

Huge congrats on the incoming. I have consolidated in the past and may still get rid of a couple of pieces.

I had the same question, please point me in the direction of the watch market collapse because I would love to be first in line to pick up some deals.

This is an interesting topic. I like many watches, but somehow dislike the idea of having several. Besides the obvious financial aspect (of having multiple that are not gaining value) I'm not sure why I dislike it. Maybe it's some form of OCD

I have two I'm kinda happy with. They both have a few unique traits that justify it for me.
But I'm thinking of adding a 3rd and staying at that. Probably a Sub Date.

The sooner the better for me , I've been waiting years for the Paul Newman Daytona et al ,to be in my price range & now I will have my pick of them. If anyone wants to get rid now before the market really collapses & you have to do a buy one get one free deal just to get rid of those worthless models just let me know .

All in jest of course, because this is never gonna happen . EVER.
