No need for a tourniquet if you cut your hand.

Personally I like mine a little loose enough to move up an inch when I raise my arm.it just feels right but to each his own.

is this too tight / normal?

Personally, I think the clasp sets where it is suppose to; however, band looks too tight. It forces the watch totally flat on your wrist plus the fact that he band has left that deep of an imprint. You should wear it how it feels comfortable. So if snug is comfortable for you then wear it snug. But it also shouldn't be so loose that it just flopping around either or so tight your wrist has a permanent imprint. Wear it in good health.

No. The mark left by the watch on your skin is relatively far up your wrist. Your wrist tapers towards your hand. If you wore if slightly lower at the same tightness it would be snug but fine.

That looks too tight. I wear mine tight enough it won't slide down past my wrist bone but it still moves around a little bit. I can slip my pinky under the clasp on mine.

Way to tight for me but it's personal preference. Pinky rule for me.

OPs have in-ies instead of out-ies.

Glad you got the shot before your hand turned blue.

Yup, first issue is it's higher up the forearm. If this is where you like to wear it I advise making it looser.

If you slide it towards the wrist I imagine it'll still be tight but not leave-a-red-mark tight.

For me, that would be too tight. I like snug, but not to that extent.

That depends. Your hand will probably turn black soon, before it eventually falls off. If that's your intention I'd say you're good.

The handcuffs they used when they transported me to prison left the same marks on both my ankles and wrists. Little tight

Definitely too tight I like my Watch's tight for the reason that was stated that it doesn't rattle about this will do damage to the links & make the bracelet very loose & stretched over time. My bracelet is tight for these very reasons but it's not so tight that it leaves marks on my wrists

lucky I remembered your broken wrist thread as that much sinkage looks like significant muscle atrophy

U adjusted bracelet tighter after losing the cast?

if that's your normal if muscles hadn't wasted, I'd suggest go get full body checkup asap - likely circulation & engine trouble

Nah the bracelet is the same as before I broke my wrist. Just now it's really tight and leaving these marks. I can't remember if it left marks before as it was so comfortable. May be that my wrist still has swelling or soft tissue around it. It only happened 7 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I don't have any other issues.

Yowsers... your arm is definitely bloated. Why I dunno, I ain't no doc.

But for sure, I can't ever clasp a bracelet that tight that it sinks below level of surrounding flesh all the way around and I did try with an oyster bracelet from my younger days that I dug out from a drawer last week. It's at least 1 link short if not 2, it clasped down so tight I think it's bent the springbars...

Folded link oyster, don't think I can find a matching extension

1) if it’s comfortable, wear it that way — who cares what a forum thinks
2) you might want a little space for morning-evening and hot-cold cycles that normally cause the wrist to grow/shrink through the day

It's perfectly possible to have swelling for up to a year after a fracture so you may want to factor that into any decision you make regarding modifying the bracelet.
