Cool. What's harder, Cerachrom or the gemstones?

If going this way I'd rather rubies for a BLRO imitation.

I assume it´s a BLNR with aftermarket bezel, the real 116759s don´t have a blue GMT hand.

Also, there is no reference 116749 which in case it´s a modded BLNR would also be incorrect as the 9 states that it´s a WG watch.

So in a way, it's an "official Rolex franken"? :) BLRO WG case + BLNR dial/hands + gems?

I like the blue on top. I know, I know...day and night function blah blah blah.

It is sacrilege to think blue could ever be on top...unless there's....red (gasp!) on the bottom?

Rolex in the past would never use a coloured GMT hand on these configurations.

My SARU has the plain non cloloured hand so something seems odd about this.

The 116749SABLNR: a WG GMTIIC set with a Blue/Black Sapphire bezel. It's a limited release of 20 pieces according to the post.

What?

An affront to good taste. Send it back to refit a regular BLNR bezel.

Function is still the same. Diamonds representative of 2, 4, 6, etc. Blue stones represents nighttime. Black stones represents daytime. I think the only valid criticism of function is that black represents daytime and blue represents night.

10:10 & 10:10am on the GMT hand.

Why? He says it's a limited production piece. Made by Rolex for the China market.

If you don't like it, then that's a valid opinion, but there's nothing shameful about this watch

I will never understand gemstones or precious metals in a Rolex Professional model, but to each his/her own.
