I don't even care for the YM, but trust me, that's an unwise move. Get ready to live with regret. Also, I predict the one you're trading it for won't be with you for more than a year. Once you break the seal on flipping, you become a different kind of Rolex owner. A less desirable kind, in my humble opinion. But to each his own....

Thanks for all the negativity, this world is lacking a bit of it...

I'm not a flipper, I've had the Yachtmaster for a really long time and It's taken me about a year to pull the trigger on the right piece, If the less desirable thing is your case than thats your issue, not mine. I do know how to enjoy my possessions and I do know how to make the best decisions that bring happiness to me. Long time ago I made the decision of owning one because its the system that works for me not because its the one fits all system.

Thanks for you comments, makes me even more sure that I've made the right decision.

is no one allowed to sell their watch now?

If you have followed this forum at all you would know the OP has been putting feelers out for a long, long time about replacing that watch. He isnt a flipper.

Some may say a bit too long to pull the trigger

Thanks!

I'm a 'rip the bandaid off' kind of guy so I probably wouldn't post a thread like this or I'd risk changing my mind. However the YM is a great watch and was my first Rolex (long gone now). Looking forward to your incoming.

Thanks, I highly appreciate comments coming from the PM King himself. I posted this one just because the Deal is done.

My mistake. I thought the YM was your first Rolex, purchased new over a decade ago and worn all this time as your one and only. Had that been the case, it would still be your prerogative to sell and replace with a new one.....just a recipe for future regret in my opinion (and experience).
