If you can go either way base on look, I would go with the one that's been discontinued :)

Just got mine today (first Rolex!!!) and went with all lume. The balanced look of lume filled #s did it for me ... along with not being able to unsee the short hands. In person, it still has quite a bit of presence reflecting light, but still flies under the radar.
