There’s blue, then there’s....

Perfect combo Dan. Enjoy them! Oh and the blue is closest in color to lapis lazuli sometimes also called ultramarine.

Smurf blue is different than bluesy. Bluesy is more metallic and shines. Smurf blue is more flat in appearance,.

Fantastic watch! I must say that it looks even better in person than it even does in your great pictures.

Great duo! Love the "smurf" despite it's hilarious nickname

Other experts can correct me but I believe the smurf and bluesy are different. The bluesy has a sunburst dial whereas the smurf is more matte.

Lapis made a nice blue for Dutch painters, esp when mixed by Scarlett Johansson.

Really enjoyed this thread. I just got mine Wednesday. It’s only come off to shower and sleep. It’s easily my favorite watch. I traded a Pelagos and a SD43 for it and don’t regret it one bit. The combination of blue dial and blue ceramic bezel are absolutely stunning in pictures, but even better in person.

That’s gorgeous. I’ve been thinking about the bluesy in two tone but that’s a great pic to support it in SS

The BLRO's much more under the radar than the Sub' so it'll probably end up being the Pepsi for work and the Smurf for weekends....

I've been thinking recently that the BLRO would be my next big purchase of the year, but but every time I see the Smurf I start to doubt my decision.

Thanks for the side by side.

That blue is phenomenal on the Sub!

I wish they made a poor man's smurf.....a Tudor Black Bay in Tudor Pelagos Blue or Sub Blue. The Smurf Blue is phenomenal, but I'd "settle" for others.
