Totally different watch except the same name GMT. Unless money is the issue they can perfectly co-exist in the collection. The problem is the long waiting list again.

I'll be adding Pepsi i with my BLNR. Likely a grey buyer, not a lot of patience for the waiting game

The BLNR is a gem. Black and blue not only go well together but they represent day and night better than any other colors. Definitely a keeper though I do want this jubilee Pepsi. The jubilee makes it nearly a different watch. I probably would’ve gone for a Sub before going for the same watch with just a different bezel.
Now that we know everything is getting the 3235, I won’t buy a Sub until they get it unless I run into an LV for a good price.

This poll, and others like it, are irrevocably flawed:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Confirmation bias, also called confirmatory bias or myside bias,[Note 1] is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses.[1] It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning. People display this bias when they gather or remember information selectively, or when they interpret it in a biased way. The effect is stronger for emotionally charged issues and for deeply entrenched beliefs. Confirmation bias is a variation of the more general tendency of apophenia. People also tend to interpret ambiguous evidence as supporting their existing position. Biased search, interpretation and memory have been invoked to explain attitude polarization (when a disagreement becomes more extreme even though the different parties are exposed to the same evidence), belief perseverance (when beliefs persist after the evidence for them is shown to be false), the irrational primacy effect (a greater reliance on information encountered early in a series) and illusory correlation (when people falsely perceive an association between two events or situations). A series of psychological experiments in the 1960s suggested that people are biased toward confirming their existing beliefs. Later work re-interpreted these results as a tendency to test ideas in a one-sided way, focusing on one possibility and ignoring alternatives. In certain situations, this tendency can bias people's conclusions. Explanations for the observed biases include wishful thinking and the limited human capacity to process information. Another explanation is that people show confirmation bias because they are weighing up the costs of being wrong, rather than investigating in a neutral, scientific way. However, even scientists can be prone to confirmation bias.[2] Confirmation biases contribute to overconfidence in personal beliefs and can maintain or strengthen beliefs in the face of contrary evidence. Poor decisions due to these biases have been found in political and organizational contexts.[3][4] |

I'd think that only a small percentage of BLNR owners bought the black and blue because the red and blue was unavailable in stainless steel. So I don't think most BLNR owners would dump their watch to sit on a waiting list for the Pepsi. They'd have to really want the jubilee bracelet, or really wanted the red and blue ceramic all along, or they just have an itch for something hot.
Personally, I like the jubilee. Looks great on loevhagen's BLNR (btw, what happened to his insta account?). I have the BLNR, and don't plan to sell it for the new Pepsi. However, I am considering selling it to finance another purchase, so it will be interesting to see how this affects the resale market for the BLNR... Considering the two choices on the poll, I guess I'll abstain. |

Having just picked up my BLNR yesterday from the AD, I really didn't care what was released today.
I will be keeping it and if in the future I fancy a BLRO, I will get one. |

Nope. Love my BLNR and the colors. Not a fan of the new bracelet or the colors if they are funky like the WG BLRO was.
I own a 16710 with all three inserts (pepsi at the moment). My BLNR still gets all the wrist time. They new pepsi is nice, but it will never replace my BLNR. My BLNR is just more versatile than my pepsi. That's my opinion, I know many will disagree. I may add pepsin down the line, like in 10 years when it's actually available. It will be hard to get up front I believe and it will go to AD vips, friends, etc before it gets to some of us. Then some people will buy it purely to flip. Long live the BLNR! |

Keeping my BLNR and my 16710 Pepsi. The BLNR is still the nicest modern SS GMT in my opinion. The new Pepsi doesn’t do it for me.

I’m liking the brown/black bezel with oyster bracelet more than the coke jubilee.

As much as I love the Pepsi bezel, I wouldn't get rid of a BLNR. Blue/Black is just beautiful....once you go Blue/Black, you can't go...um....back?
I may add the new 126710BLRO once Rolex gets their head straight and offers it with a Oyster bracelet. |

Keeping my BLNR for sure! Black/blue is more neutral and more versatile. Jubilee bracelet looks busy compared to the Oyster bracelet, also a bit too chique for a SS sports Rolex.
But I must say that I like the Tudor version better, love the vintage-style numbers on the bezel. |

Not selling BLNR but will buy Tudor "diet pepsi." Of course, if I have a real opportunity to buy the Rolex, that could go out the door.

Love my BLNR from day one, it has been around the world with me and I will not part with it. Several times I have looked at a SubC No Date, but can't bring myself to become a "collector" when I have the perfect watch. Also, I am not a fan of the Jubilee bracelet...

BLNR is still the nicer of the two. I’ll probably add the Pepsi rather than replace.

I think the BLNR aesthetically looks better. I would never trade it/sell it for the BLRO.

Pepsi
I prefer the look of the red and blue GMT over any other color combination! But the ideal bracelet would be brushed steel. The jubilee and the PCL bracelet are not as practical.
Pepsi bezel with a brushed bracelet would be my ultimate watch. |

I am on my third BLNR, I flipped two and this last one is a keeper. I will add the new Pepsi. I never owned Rolex with a jubilee, it is time.

Not totally on board with the Jubilee bracelet. Planning on keeping my BLNR.
I don’t see Rolex discontinuing BLNR bezel...probably just update with Jubilee and new movement. We shall see. |

Damn Rolex, in less than 24 hours time since I made this thread, the new Pepsi grew on me. When I first saw people putting the super jubilee on the BLNR's I thought it looked outrageous. But hey, if it's good enough for Rolex, it's good enough for me.
If the right time ever comes in the future I might just have to add one to go with the BLNR.
