I wasnt expecting to see so many young purchases here. I have always thought Rolexs were for old men. Or maybe that is just a localized thing. Or maybe just because everyone on this forum is a watch person, so they started young, I bought my first hot rod (1940 ford coupe) when i was 17, back in 02, and am always the youngest person on the forums for that, kind of expected that here, but glad to see that is not the case! Viva las Rolex!

What did your wife get for actually giving birth? :)

I got my SS/platinum YM in 2001 at age 32, on the Valentine's Day before my 10th wedding anniversary (please don't do the math to figure out my age). We paid $4550 cash for it (retail $5700). I like to think I got a good deal on the watch.

My husband received his TT Sub from his father earlier this year, for his 39th birthday, as a gift. I'm not sure how I can top that gift for his 40th next year. I heard good things about Rado watches, so I might check out that brand.

I was 53 when my beautiful and frighteningly intelligent wife Leah purchased me my YM for our 10th anniversary!

When she bought it for me I lost 10 years of age. I am now officially 43 years old and very vigorous! Very vigorous!
