I would go for the Explorer, as it could serve as a dress watch in a pinch, doubly so if you didn't like your BLNR, which, in my opinion, would be a better companion than an LN. Have you considered a Speedmaster?

Ok...pulling the curtains back a bit. Same question - Explorer 1 or GMTII C LN in this current line up???
Explorer 1 would be another time only piece while the GMT would add a complication piece. But again, similar look to a sub.
