Submariner no doubt, its iconic, simple dial, not so bling, suit any clothes

Anything in Oystersteel/ 904L easily handles daily wear. Date is really helpful.

Explorer, OP 39, or smooth bezel DJ41 in that order IMO is sporty to a bit dressy (new OP dials are very nice this year by the way)
I am a fan of the classic oyster case so I am biased towards these. I am in minority around here in that regards but I don’t claim my tastes are better than anyone else. I would think the sportier sub, gmt or explorer II would also qualify for everyday. I am sure I would be very happy with any of the above. I guess I just covered the bulk of the SS models Any of these could be the only, everyday watch depending on ones tastes. |

I think the 114270 could be the only watch many people would ever need, given the addition of some nice straps suitable for every occasions.
I'm partial to the bracelet.

Any Rolex is a good everyday watch. Personally, I prefer GMT Masters.
Of course, out in the world more people, men and women, buy and wear DJs as everyday watches than any other model. |

Any of these 2 as they possess the date function for me.
Oyster bracelet is a must too. |

Every Rolex that I have ever owned has been an everyday watch. :)
Come to that every watch, regardless of the brand or complication has been such. I am not a strong believer of only wearing a watch for that "special occasion"

Thanks! It's hard not to be the everyday watch.

I wore my 16610 Sub as my daily wearer for 6 years or more, so a SS SubC would be perfect as well.
I would also say, a SS GMT2 or Exp2 would fit the bill equally well, and maybe a Exp2 Polar is in many ways the perfect everyday 'tool' watch that Rolex do??

As long as your days aren't spent doing anything too physical, the Day-Date has the ideal functions for daily wear - time, date and day.
I've worn my new DateJust every day for a few months now and it's great, but a SS sports Rolex would be equally suitable. I'm thinking of adding the Tudor GMT as a more casual alternative. Let us know what you choose to go with. |

Nothing which draws attention; so the least expensive stuff, Oyster Perpetual, Explorer One, Datejust with smooth bezel. For me, the best watches Rolex make. All the quality, none of the maxi-case bling. Ideal.

Sub, GMT, Daytona are a few but most Rolex can be every day watches.

if this is your first Rolex, I’d take a look at the Explorer or the Submariner
