Honestly on a yellow gold Sub, dial or bezel color won’t change a thing from the « bling » or « extremely bling » perspective... This is one of the most beautiful watch of all time. But this is a watch that people notice.

I love the blue on that watch so much. You can not stop staring at it. You forget you just wanted to know what time it is... The picture in my signature is my vote.

On the other hand, if you're convinced you will get the black, why even bother with the poll? Just get the watch you intend to get, and don't let us muddy the waters for you.[/QUOTE]

Well, if we didn’t muddy the waters, what would we do with ourselves?

Argue about the BLNR disco and whether or not the new Pepsi is really red and blue.

But for all the other times like taking it with a suit or in more formal encounters I do find the black and YG combo much more imposing and classy.

Hmmm...it is a tough choice!

Albastru...
The royal blue dial is very versatile ...
I have the TT Blue Sub and wear it with suits !!!
Get more blue and brown/tan suits you’ll be fine !!!
It’s not the full pm gold but many say this is more
flashy buf I’m ok with it ...

One of the more personal choices you need to make on a Rolex. Based on how watches are trending, I would have to say the blue here.

I would (if I could) get the LN. Just don't like blue in any watch. But obviously a lot of people do. Luckily for you, you can choose!

I own the 116618LB and love it. When there is not alot of light it actually looks almost black from a distance. Outdoors the blue is unreal.

Both are great.
I went for black and do not regret it.
Metallic blue is alluring, but for me it became a little tiring when I had it on the previous non-ceramic model.

That blue dial didn't sing to OP because it's flat...never sang to me either ....that sunburst blue is sooooo striking with YG. It's a wow watch

Go with blue for the YG Sub. If you really love the black on solid YG look, I'd recommend the GMT II.

If you're going gold, go all the way and get the blue.
