Sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm brand new to the forum and to the Rolex club. Bought myself a SS Datejust 41 in Rhodium with Jubilee in Italy at an AD. Was watching some YouTube videos and got worried when I noticed my 6o'clock had the Crown instead of 30 between Swiss Made in almost all the videos.
Does that jsut mean my watch is newer / with new movements? Thanks in advance. |

Mean yours is the new 2019 model. All datejust 41 come with the 3235 movement.

I think the crown does not indicate the new movement. Before 2018 no any Rolex watches had the crown regardless of type of movement. I have a DJ41 without the crown, although it has the new movement. So, in my opinion Rolex has simply changed a dial design for some models since 2018.

The BLNR does have the new movement and coronet. The discontinued BLNR model doesn’t. You can see the coronet at the bottom. |
