First of all do you want GMT or timing bezel function? I find timing bezel more useful in everyday life but GMT more useful for work.

I flipped BLNR for YM blue dial. I like the slim profile and elegance of YM over BLNR, especially the slimmer lugs. YM has same profile as the popular Daytona whereas GMT is more blocky like a Sub. The GMT is more masculine imao.

I'm starting to regret the swap to YM due to the feeling (true or not true) that the platinum bezel is fragile or will get scratched easier than the ceramic with BLNR. I'm now getting a SD4K and probably selling YM.

I'd say go with the one that attracts you the most and fit your lifestyle and intended usage.
that YM might have the most beautiful blue dial of any watch on the market, and was the first Rolex that made go 'wow' several years ago.
I really wanted it, but avoided getting it as a daily watch precisely for the platinum bezel being more susceptible to scratching.

If I don't get a PM Daytona, my alternative plan is the get the RG YM..........so damn comfortable for a PM watch and beautiful in person.
