This is just not something that I expect. Can’t even see the crown.
Omega has a patent on some kind of crown alignment but hasn’t made it in any watches. |

Not that it matters to me.

I was told that they do it on purpose, and then sit around the lunch room and laugh about it.

All my rolexes line up differently
I have Exp2 that lined up perfectly until it was serviced at RSC To be honest ...don’t care about it because as one poster said even if it is aligned as the runner gaskets wear down the the crown will become misaligned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have to agree and who the hell is going to look at a winding crown while on the wrist unless owner of watch has extreme OCD.

Mine lines up perfectly, twelve o’clock. I think that over the years as you loosen then tighten the crown it will start to get out of alignment, I try not to over tighten mine.

Only the SkyD in gold is engineered to be always lined up

Funny story. On my first Rolex, the crown lines up perfectly. The second one doesn't and when I first got it I brought it to a few ADs who all told me that they don't all line up. I couldn't believe that Rolex would not require the crowns to line up on all models. Anyway, several years later, I finally relented and now see that it is indeed random. Though I still don't like it and the crown SHOULD line up, dammit!

You too? I'm actually in a panic today over how to clean mine. I'm fresh out of unicorn tears and I also can't find the Phoenix feather pillow I strap it around at night in order to keep the caseback from being scuffed up.
