I don’t know. My bezel only moves when I bang my watch on something |

I kind of like the softer, uni-directional action of the GMT. It was surprising and oddly satisfying the first time I used it. That said, I never actually use the bezel for a second (or third) timezone; I’ll just adjust the hour hand to local time with the GMT hand staying at home time. I will admit to fiddling with the bezel all the time though.
The Sub bezel is way more useful in everyday situations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

YM bi-directional is ideal for me.

Bi-directional on a sub is what I vote for
![]() I know that would defeat the purpose, but I have never used mine for any measurement and I doubt I ever will. It’s a pain to move it fully around if it’s off center lol. I would rather be able to one click clockwise to get it back to the 12 position. |

I'm not a fan of the bezel action on the 6 digit dive models. The bezel's seem to move easily with light unintentional contact whereas the GMT bezels seem to move only on intentional contact.

I was just going to start a new thread about this, but figure I would revive this old thread instead. I recently acquired the SD43, which I believe has the same bezel action as a sub. I also have a GMT batman. I've never really gave it much thought about the batman's action until I got the SD43. The SD43 is just so much more precise because of the short distance on each click. It only has to travel half a minute worth of length, so it feels precise. there's very little room to wiggle. In the GMT, you have to travel all of 5 minutes, that's 10 times the length of the sub's click. So it feels like you're pushing the bezel up a hill and then down a hill. I mean they are both effortless and well engineered and precise in the way it is supposed to function, but the fact that the Sub/SD travels 1/2 minute at a time inherently feels more precise.
