My SD43 is a daily option

and how heavy is it (can you compare to any other Rolex watches, e.g. sub, explorer II 42, DJ, etc.)

I measured its weight and it is about 190+ grams ( fully linked ). In comparison my hulk also fully linked weighs 156 grams. So it is about 35-40 grams more than a SubC.
Here is my thread about the weight of the SubC ( so SD43 in this thread).

The thickness is also more than SubC, which of course comes with the increased depth rating.

However, after owning and living with my Tudor BBR, I don’t find SD43 to be neither big nor heavy at all compared to BBR ( which weighs in 170s). If you have owned a Tudor BB or try it on at an AD, you should get a good feel for the size and weight of the SD43. Amazingly though, SD43 wears a little heavier but *smaller* than BBR. The log shape and end to end size and the bracelet all work together to make it wear smaller than it suggests.

You have a point.

It definitely feels heavier than Sub, BLNR and DJ. Summer T shirt outdoor activities wearing is great but I won't wear it as daily.

I love mine. I usually wear my skydweller to work, but found I always removed it when I got home in an effort to avoid potential scratches. Now I wear this at home and on the weekends. It feels like a tank (it felt very heavy the first few days) and I feel that the brushed bracelet is better at hiding scratches.

Funny thing is I have gotten many more compliments on this watch than my others. It has the advantage of looking like the iconic sub but being larger and more noticeable. Most people just think its a sub, though I don't correct them in passing. I do enjoy the compliments : )

You need a big heavy wrist for this timepiece...7.5 plus...otherwise it will swamp your pencil wrist...

It can attest to both the thickness of thy wrist as well as the watch.. IMHO the SD43 is no more than an average sized sports watch
