Congratulations !!! My friend is still on a rather long waitlist for one at his AD,but hopeful to receive it by beginning of 2018.

Patiently waiting for you to post wristshots of your new addition, particularly in it's natural habitat-the flightdeck!

Can you imagine how crazy getting your beloved watch, having it on your hands and only admire it not being able to wear it because it's not adjusted to your your wrist ?!

I'll have it delivered here and then, drive with it to the closest Rolex AD to have the bracelet adjusted
They have these things. They are metal with a flat end. I think if you insert it into the slot of the slot-having-thingys in the bracelet and turn carefully you may be able to take them out. And then you can size the bracelet yourself.

It’s magical, I know, but magic can be real if you want it to be.

WOW !

I appreciate your knowledge !

You have just saved my life, sir !! Congrats !

Final thoughts: I'm still going to the AD to get it done and your "lesson" hasn't changed a thing... whatsoever... in my life !

Actually, I've seen her pictures from my phone messenger and she is not a big deal LOL.

But I must say, the saleswoman from Breitling (I got a Navitimer 01 a month ago).........

About 20 minutes ago, from a second AD which I'm not a recurrent client but I asked them about the watch a month ago with no commitment, got the call for a BLRO coming next Monday, no less !!!!

I must be dreaming !

Right now I'm deciding what to do:

To be loyal to my AD and wait until August or getting from the other AD and even having it delivered to my Apartment with the Rolex Saleswoman for adjustment !

Congratulations Fábio. I am a member of the Mechanical Watch Forum (Brazil) just like you. If I had seen your post earlier ...

Why not buy both and sell one? You’d basically fund your BLRO for free if you did that at current prices

12K dollars is £9K so a 40% premium, not a good deal if this is the case.

Personally I would have gone with it, left the stickers on and tried it for a week.

Worse case scenario you could always sell it for what you paid

All of a sudden, got the call for the BLRO... from TWO different AD's (No Joke)

First, I must explain something that is quite common here in Brazil...

It's quite common to split a higher price for a monthly payment with the Credit Card. Sometimes up to 10x (which is the case for both AD's).

The price paying in 10 months is R$ 46.200,00. In US$ at today's exchange is 12.016.19 US Dollars.

Funny thing is: I said to both AD's that I will pay at once and they are barely giving me any discount over the 10x payment price (Bizzare). They are saying that because of the hype, there's basically no discount for the BLRO, paying in 1, 2, 3, 10x no matter what !

I'm right now typing with both AD's on my phone's messenger while I'm posting here !

I’ve got a great deal paying at once. 40,000 instead of 46,200. Super happy I’ve got mine last Monday. Congrats on your new watch!

Great !

Good to hear !

However, I'm utterly pissed. Guess what ? I was promised to receive it today, but all the Rolex watches in distribution for this week, are still being cleared from customs. Brazilian bureaucratic wonders, so you know as well as I do ............

It wasn't the AD's fault so she said it's going to be for the next week, between Tuesday and Thursday. If I'm lucky, Monday ! Then, she asked if I wanted to cancel the purchase due to the inconvenient....

I said: Hell no (Although I must admit that for a second, I had considered cancelling everything, getting myself a Speedster Moonwatch, saving half of my money from the BLRO LOL).... But this heretic thought vanished right away after I came back to my senses...

What's the deal waiting a few more days when not long ago I had no clue or hope of the availability for the BLRO !!??

Would you mind telling which city you are from ? SP ?

Congrats on yours ! I've seen already 4 people from SP, from different forums, owning the BLRO, not including yourself !

Yes, I also live in São Paulo. Got mine from Rolex Iguatemi. Before Baselworld I made a bet with the manager: if a Pepsi was released I got to be the first in line! He never thought it would happen. His bet was a Coke. Very nice guys!

Wow, it's like being struck by lightning twice in the same day! Maybe the Rolex elves have been extra busy making more Pepsi GMT's than people thought. I don't think I would have cancelled the other order until I knew the AD I was going with had it in hand. Anyways, gracious of you to allow somebody else to buy the other Pepsi at MSRP rather than a flip. Look forward to seeing your pictures. Cheers & congratulations!

Fabio, parabéns! But next time make sure to get both and sell the second one to the other Brazilian members of the forum (at a slight premium) ;) haha
