A yellow one with index made of round diamonds (except for 6, 9, made of stick diamonds (baguette in French) is what I would suggest for a more feminine touch.

I had one, although it appears that I am a man.

Anyway...

Sole drawback: hard to read time in bright sun light. Not because of the diamonds, because of the lack of contrast between the gold hands and the gold dial.
