Yeah, no problems ...

I wear mine with a suit almost every day at work.

No one cares about the watch I wear and I like it that way.

I believe anyone who judges a person based on their watch clashing with their suit/clothes must be extremely shallow and a total a$$!

Kind regards

I would wear any Rolex with anything. The finest time piece going. People are wearing Timex's with a fine suit. Think about it! A GMT with a suit...absolutely

It looks fine with a suit. One bit of advice, though: don't wear gold cuff links or belt buckle with a ss watch. In fact, I would avoid cuff links altogether, as that look is a little too formal for a sport watch (even the lovely GMT).

Cheers,

Chris

I say yes

It wouldnt be my first choice to wear to a wedding; however no matter what color, its still a rolex!

I think any rolex can be worn in any situation......unless its "iced up".

take that pepsi directly to the open bar!

Yes, rollies are beautiful and yes they are prestigious. But style is still style. A pepsi will not go with everything. Just like a brown belt wont go with black shoes, even though both may be expensive and gorgeous in their own right.

Generally i think rolex watches are dressy n it depend on how 'dress up' you want to be as the basic SS is good enough but as you upgrade to TT or full gold, it get better n better

Right!! Cost of an average good suit....say around $600.

Cost of an average SS Rolex.....say around $5000.

Questoin should be: Which SUIT would go with any Rolex?

JJ

Would you also wear clean black Timberland boots with a suit as well?

Exactly. They are nice, they are Rolex, but if I had the option of wearing a dress watch instead of a sport watch I would. I also agree no one would care, if they even noticed.

Personally, cost isn't an issue, or $300 Nike basketball shoes would be more appropriate with a suit than $299 traditional leather lace-ups. Everyone has their own views on this and it's no different from any other "style" decision.

I am puzzled though by some that say "heck yea" are among the first to bitch about polished links and other steps Rolex is taking to obviously make a $7K GMT-IIC and the new Subs, etc, that 95% of people are buying as a luxury item, fit in a bit easier in all situations and not just be a "tool watch."

Thats what I would think 99.9999999 would never notice.
If Bond wears a Blue SeaMaster with a suit then why not.

Cool with a suit - the (old) GMT and the Exp II
They both wear a bit slimmer than the Sub/SD and dress up better, helped by a tad more polish (bracelet link ends) and smaller clasp.

Cheers
