I would wear both for a month or so and make my decision. New movement wouldn't be a deciding factor. Fit, comfort and which color combo I preferred would be my deciding factors

I would trade up, I prefer the jubilee, the movement and even the colours although they're not perfect. My only condition would be to pay BLRO MSRP - fair market value of the BLNR.

Prices are coming down as this is not as limited a release as the D500. I prefer the two tone bezel so I'd go for that.

Own both and for me the BLRO is much nicer but with that said I would not pay premium for either.

Never understood the hype over the BLNR. I would pick the BLRO every time.

Oyster>jubilee for me... At least until I actually see the SS BLRO in person.
As a one watch, I think the BLNR is more subtle and versatile. |

Though prices didn't get nearly as high, the SD43 had an immediate premium but came down fairly quickly as it seemed they were showing up everywhere. But that didn't last and as the incomings and AD availability for the watch dropped, the gray market prices went up again. Not saying that will happen with the Pepsi, but it could. $22K is well over a 100% premium for the watch, $18K is about 100%. Either dollar figure in the gray market is absurd. Be patient and buy at MSRP.

blro looks better, blnr is becoming dull more like a regular black sub.

I prefer BLNR. I don't like bright colors on the watch and jubilee bracelet.
That being said, if I had an opportunity to purchase BLRO for MSRP I'll do it for making some profit. |

If only one, BLRO for sure. Prefer the colors and the jubilee is a nice change for the Pro line. BLNR is still a fantastic watch though.

It's just a good looking watch that presents well, though tastes obviously differ. I must say that I wasn't initially a GMT person, and over time seeing pictures and having other GMT makes/models I came to appreciate the complication hence I picked up the BLNR. It looks great dressed up/down and covers the same size and basic 'look' that a Sub would.

I could have either, but bought the BLRO. Something about the BLNR just doesn’t appeal to me. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’ve never wanted it.

I’d buy a BLRO at retail, but it’s not worth the ridiculous premium they’re going for

At this point in my life I really only have room for one Rolex GMT in my collection. I've had my BLNR for about 6 months now. I got it with minimal wait and mainly because I needed to scratch an itch while waiting for my Daytona (which magically showed up a few months later!). Only saying this because I came into the watch with some interest but was not drooling over it for months before getting one.
I personally like the BLRO more. I love the jubilee for this watch (in a line-up of Rolex professional models, this should be the one with a jubilee, compared to others like a Sub or a Daytona) and just think the Blue/Red combination is more interesting than Black/Blue. That being said, I love the BLNR, but wouldn't feel terribly torn about selling it once I get the call for a BLRO. |

The BLNR will stay with me. It’s the longest wait I have on a watch — 1 year and 6 months. So you tend to treasure it more.
Having said that, I’ve been warming up to the BLRO for two things: 1. Jubilee bracelet - making it less noticeable on scratches 2. Red GMT hand - looks so much nicer against the green and the blue GMT hands How long to wait - that’s another question in this crazy market of watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Own both. Really prefer the BLRO.
I was never a fan of the PCL Oyster which looks a mess in any kind of harsh lighting. The Jubilee looks much better after a little wear. The BLRO seems more focussed and distinct from the Sub' line. BLNR is maybe a little bit of a halfway house in comparison. In the real world, I've noticed no issue with the colours. It's actually pretty faithful to the bakelite original. |

I also love my blnr and consider it one of the best SS Rolex you can buy today. Pepsi has been on my radar but I still don’t think I’d give up my blnr for it. If it came on oyster then it would make things more difficult.

I have the BLNR and love it. I like the stealthy black and blue bezel. The one thing I wish they did different is the GMT arrow blue color. Not easy to see; I think a red or any other bright color will work better.
I will love to have BLRO but not willing to pay a premium for it. |

As soon as I got the call from my AD that I would be getting the new Pepsi I immediately made a phone call and sold my Batman. I absolutely love the Batman but it’s not even close to the Pepsi. It’s just not. Unless of course you happen to be a hater of the Jubilee bracelet then that would change everything. But if you like the Jubilee bracelet then we’re back to there is no comparison. It’s night and day. Pepsi all day long.

Batman. The oyster bracelet is far superior in comstruction and looks IMO. Jubilee is ok on a Datejust, but it’s not sporty.

No sir. Trust me it’s not the same watch. Not even close. Like I said I love the BLNR but it’s not the Pepsi. Perhaps you don’t like the jubilee bracelet like others? I like both the jubilee and oyster bracelets on all Rolex pieces.
