Tint race between blue and olive imo, but the blue edges out slightly. RG and olive is a stunner

Olive or Dark Rhodium with stripe motif.

There was one Ice blue, quadrant motif dial on this watch when I bought it.
I Love Lume.

Which WG DD40???

Blue is my first choice, followed by green. The green is gorgeous, but if you’re looking for a standout, really noticeable green color....you only get the burst green effect in bright light. Most of the time it’s pretty muted. The blue is undoubtedly blue in most all light conditions.

Blue is my #1 choice. Green is my #1a choice. I've seen both in person at an AD, was surprised how dark the blue dial is in person, especially under the bright AD lights.

Olive. Of course.

Kidding. Tough call between the blue and the olive for me. I went olive as I love the color green and it was the most beautiful watch I'd ever seen. While the blue is spectacular, at the end of the day it had to be olive.

i would go with olive. blue reminds me too much of a datejust (even though it's a different blue) whereas olive is exclusive to day dates so i feel its more special. also think blue would look black in a lot of lighting although that pic of the blue under sunlight posted above makes it a harder choice

for black i would prefer baguettes instead of sticks

I love the Olive, but I find the Roman numerals on the DD40 too chaotic, and I personally would need to have sticks or baguettes.

the blue dial has a nice tone but between those 3, olive green.
i went with quadrant silver dial so the dial "blends" with the WG bracelet,
same as the yellow gold with champagne dial so as for the watch to look
one color...that was what i was going for and got it.
green dial pops in rose gold and white gold for my taste.

Website does no justice to these. I always thought the olive until l saw the blue roman in person. Still a tough choice.

I had doubts about white, silver and green dial. I have been able to try green and silver today. To me silver for sure!
Silver dial is amazing, it is divided in quarters alternating a kind of guioche vertical and horizontal in each quadrant.
Legibility is great, my 50 yo eyes can not say the same of the green one.
Now to look for a milestone or good new that deserves it...

Which WG DD40???

Thanks everyone for the votes

As an update, I ended up going with the blue dial and romans (even despite olive green winning the poll )...

Black sticks for me, ultimate legibility and lends a sporty look.

This was the version I chose; it's not an obvious choice, but it looks restrained and classy on the wrist. To me at least.

Rhodium dial with the stripe motif is way more Rolex classic. Remember some of the more flashy dials will get old.

For me, the olive, over the blue but not by that much. On the RG, it is a no-brainer.

Yeah, the olive one.
