Well that kind of falls under the umbrella of freak accident in my mind, although I should have said incident. Anyhow, I suppose it depends on how small that percentage is.

So just to clarify though, you're saying that there are group of bracelets out there that will just fall apart for no reason whatsoever, other than they're faulty? That's pretty crazy.

This has nothing to do with the steel itself. It's a function of the end link construction - specifically the pins that hold the individual pieces together.

Had this happen on a 116718. No biggie, as SearChart pointed out it´s not noticeable with the end link in place and the integrity of the end link is not compromised.
