Donīt like the green colour at all but anyway Lv for me. Never liked the lightning on the seconds hand on the GV.

Easy..GV.
The LV is just a sub with maxi dial and green bezel...no biggie. |

LV - there's something about it...
The GV never appealed to me much. |

LV for me. Thought seriously about the Milgauss. Had one on the counter alongside a LV and GMTIIC. Love the dial and bracelet. But; I love a timing bezel and date feature even more. Besides there is something about a sub that makes it feel like a better all around and abuseable watch then the GV. I know the GV is equally as durable as the sub but it does not feel that way. |

GV here. The LV is nice but it's a 'kick you in the bollocks' type watch as opposed to a 'not obviously a Rolex' like the GV.

LV all the way. I would pick any tool watch over a dress watch every time, no polished center links, it has the date, and it just looks tough.
OH, and the LV has a straight second hand.

I used to own the lv the first year it came out. Sharp watch and I love subs but the insert is no big deal as well as the old style thin clasp. The gv has a solid new clasp and it may be polished vs brushed but once u scratch the lv insert its done for.. The polished bezel on the gv can be easily re polished for scratches.. It doesn't have a date true but the crystal is something that makes u wonder how they do it.. I like the polished and brushed combo on the gv.. It is also going to remain a more hard to get model unlike the lv u can come accross them much more easy. So fare I like the gv more then my old lv

The GV has a different look. I like the GV, but I'm finding that my taste change and the more time I spend on the forum the more I want another watch.

I got both LV and GV. GV is indeed simple but special. the green saphire is really a plus. if you got a GV you know what I'm talking about.

Tough choice. I have the GV and want the LV. If I had to pick, I think I'd go LV because you can change the bezel to black, which makes it more versitile.

I like my GV. It's different and I don't see many around. Bigger dial compared to other sports model Rolex and I like the twin colour lume. My LV has the bigger triplock and maxi markers. They are very different watches - do you want a date/diver/anniversary or a brushed/polished modern bracelet Rolex.
Which one pushes your button?
