Actually that one is stainless as well but has a Pt dial and aftermarket bezel. The dead giveaway is lug geometry.

Can you please explain? I’m genuinely curious. Are the lugs on the platinum bigger?

Yes, the lugs in the platinum case are the same width on both sides, the crown guards are wider and the bracelet endlinks protrude beyond the lugs. Also, the hands on the Pt are different than the SS.

Search Google Images for 116506 photos and you'll start to spot the differences.

Very interesting. I did not know there are such big differences between the SS and PT Daytona.
