I've heard/read so many times, that one couldn't spend that much with a "Seiko" on the dial. To me shows lack of knowledge and being a follower of trends instead of setting them. Seiko has a long history of watchmaking that includes many "firsts". I prefer the older Grand Seikos, with the "Seiko" on top. The newer design has "Grand Seiko" on the top, way less stealth. SBGA011 vs SBGA211. mine....its just a Seiko.

I actually went out of my way to buy the dual branded GMT high-beat in titanium. I think it’s that much cooler that nobody gives it a second look outside of our kind!

As far as I’ve seen, only the titanium bracelets have pin/collar. Stainless has screws.

I’ve not had any issues with pin/collar on mine.
